CDI Operator deploys and manages the Containerized Data Importer infrastructure components in Kubernetes
The CDI Operator is a component of the Containerized Data Importer (CDI) project, which is part of the KubeVirt ecosystem.
CDI provides a Kubernetes extension that enables importing, uploading, and cloning of persistent volume claims (PVCs). The cdi-operator component manages the lifecycle of CDI components, handling deployment, upgrades, and configuration of the CDI infrastructure within a Kubernetes cluster.
