CDI Upload Server handles the upload of virtual machine disk images into persistent volume claims
The CDI Upload Server is a component of the Containerized Data Importer (CDI) project, which is part of the KubeVirt ecosystem.
CDI provides a Kubernetes extension that enables importing, uploading, and cloning of persistent volume claims (PVCs). The cdi-uploadserver component handles the actual upload of virtual machine disk images into PVCs, receiving data from the upload proxy.
